There’re many elves in Santa land.

They all work hard to lend a hand.

With many things they fill his sleigh.

When Santa leaves, they’re glad to stay.

Since every elf will give his best,

Not one stands out from all the rest.

But one small elf has earned great fame,

And Elfus Presskey is his name.

Since singing toys are quite the rage

With all those kids of any age,

Someone must write and sing each song,

So Elfus works the whole night long.

From music box to barking dog,

The singing doll and big bull frog.

Each sound must fit to be just right.

A thousand songs he writes each night.

He puts these songs on special tape

And puts them deep in each new shape.

The other elves have many ploys

To change these shapes to brand new toys.

Then Santa Claus on Christmas Eve

In every house a toy he’ll leave.

To hear the song that each toy gives

Is proof enough that Elfus lives.
